Culture at Tecknuovo
We're proud to share that Tecknuovo has been recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026, an award based entirely on independent employee feedback, measuring engagement across reward and recognition, pride, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing and job satisfaction.
But more than the recognition itself, we want to use this moment to talk openly about how we think about culture because we think it's one of the most important and most misunderstood parts of building a business.
Culture isn't a parallel track
There's a tendency in organisations to treat people and culture as something that runs alongside the business, a function that looks after the "soft stuff" while the real decisions get made elsewhere. We've never believed that.
At Tecknuovo, culture is the organic by-product of every decision we make. Who we hire and when. How we recognise the right behaviours. How we work together. How we create real opportunities for people to grow. It has a seat at the table in our most important decisions, and our leaders are held accountable for it, not as a tick-box exercise, but as a genuine measure of how we're doing.
Values have to be felt, not just stated
It's easy to put values on a wall. What's harder, and what actually matters, is making sure those values show up consistently in the moments that count. From how we welcome someone on their first day, to how we have difficult conversations, to how we recognise great work and support people through challenges.
We look at every touchpoint where culture is felt and ask: does this actually reflect what we stand for? And where the answer is no, we work to change it.
People's needs evolve, and so should we
Culture isn't something you get right once. People change, teams change, the business changes. There's no one-size-fits-all approach to creating an environment where people genuinely thrive.
What matters is staying curious, staying close to your people, and never assuming you've got it all figured out. We're constantly listening, learning and improving and the feedback that underpins this award is a reflection of that ongoing commitment, not the end of it.
This belongs to our people
None of this happens without the people who bring it to life every day. The ones who hold the standard, who speak up when something isn't right, who support each other through the hard moments and celebrate the good ones. Culture lives in those everyday interactions, and we're grateful to work alongside people who take that seriously.
This recognition belongs to everyone at Tecknuovo who shows up and makes it what it is.
