Delivery Manager

About the role
This role exists to ensure teams deliver products and services that create meaningful outcomes for clients and their customers. As a Delivery Manager, you are accountable for shaping and leading high-performing delivery teams, embedding yourself day to day within engagements and acting as a trusted partner to clients.
Sitting within the Delivery Hub and working closely with other hubs across the business, the role has a direct impact on client satisfaction, commercial success, and Tecknuovo’s reputation. You balance a strong focus on outcomes with an understanding of people, process, and delivery context, ensuring work is aligned to client needs while reflecting Tecknuovo’s values and ways of working.
Key responsibilities
Lead the delivery of client engagements by aligning business problems and desired outcomes with the technical and delivery approaches needed to realise them.
Build, shape, and support effective multidisciplinary teams, using an understanding of team dynamics and motivation to create the conditions for successful delivery.
Act as a catalyst for clear, open communication across teams and client stakeholders, encouraging challenge, insight, and shared ownership of outcomes.
Facilitate key workshops and ceremonies, both in person and remotely, to support planning, alignment, decision making, and continuous improvement.
Apply appropriate delivery methods, adapting agile, lean, or more traditional approaches to suit the context and constraints of each engagement.
Use data and metrics to guide decisions, track progress, manage risks, and demonstrate value against commercial agreements.
Establish and evolve delivery processes that enable work to flow effectively, embedding continuous improvement practices that raise team performance over time.
Maintain oversight of risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions, taking a long-term view to protect delivery outcomes and client relationships.
Support governance and reporting by providing clear updates on delivery status, stakeholder engagement, and emerging opportunities or challenges.
Contribute to pre-engagement and onboarding activities, including discovery workshops, stakeholder mapping, team setup, and early planning.
Who you are and how you’ll make an impact
You bring experience working across different delivery methods and understand the principles behind them, allowing you to apply them thoughtfully in a range of environments. You are comfortable operating at pace, adapting to changing requirements while maintaining focus and resilience.
Your impact comes from how you communicate and lead. You build trust through authenticity, listen carefully to understand underlying needs, and know when to challenge constructively. You are able to work independently while also collaborating closely with others, prioritising effectively and switching context safely in a busy consultancy setting.
You are commercially aware and able to navigate delivery constraints without losing sight of quality or outcomes. A genuine passion for technology underpins your work, alongside a willingness to share knowledge, mentor others, and contribute thought leadership to delivery and technical communities within the business.
A day in the life
On a typical day, you might start by checking in with your delivery team, reviewing progress against agreed outcomes and discussing any emerging risks or dependencies. You could then facilitate a planning session or retrospective, helping the team reflect on what’s working and where processes need to evolve.
Later, you may join a client meeting or governance call, translating delivery data into clear insights and aligning on next steps. Your afternoon might involve coaching a team member, updating stakeholders, or collaborating with colleagues across hubs on proposals or shared delivery assets.
Whether you’re on a client site building relationships, running a remote workshop, or supporting pre-sales discovery, your focus remains consistent: creating the conditions for successful delivery and ensuring outcomes are achieved for clients, teams, and the wider business.
